Emre Can talks future plans
Juventus star Emre Can has voiced his frustration at not being afforded much playing time this season, amid reported interest from Manchester United.
“I’m just an ambitious guy who always wants to compete at the highest level, but I’m also learning from this tough time when things are not going the way I was hoping,” Can told Kicker.
“I’m not playing games from the start, so I’m not happy, but I will stay strong and keep working on myself.
“I’m often in the gym before or after training, doing extra shifts. I want to be ready.
“A lot can always happen in football.”
Erling Haaland’s father spotted at Man Utd training ground
Erling Haaland’s father has reportedly been spotted at Manchester United’s training ground, sparking further rumours the striker could be set for a move to Old Trafford.
Haaland’s impressive campaign has seen some of Europe’s biggest clubs move in with the possibility of signing him.
United are keen to beat their European rivals to his signature, with a £100million move touted for January.
And they could be in the driving seat, according to The Athletic, who claim the forward’s father – Alf-Inge Haaland – has been spotted at United’s training ground.
Haaland’s father spent most of his career in England, playing for Nottingham Forest, Leeds and Manchester City.
Man Utd want Pochettino to be sacked
Man Utd are hoping Mauricio Pochettino is sacked by Tottenham.
The Argentine is under pressure this season after a poor campaign so far, with reports claiming Pochettino could be sacked.
And The Sun say United, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are hoping Pochettino is sacked so they don’t have to pay Spurs more than £30m in compensation.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will sack Pochettino at a last resort.
Ed Woodward wants double January deal
Manchester United are ready to go all out to land Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in January.
Goal claim United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward could shelve moves for Declan Rice and Mario Mandzukic in favour of landing the Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg stars.
United feel there’s a chance of pulling off the Sancho deal in January after Dortmund fined and dropped the winger.
As for Haaland, the Red Devils could sign the striker in January and loan him back to Salzburg for the remainder of the season.
Mario Mandzukic talks
Manchester United will hold talks with Juventus over Mario Mandzukic in the next two-three weeks.
Express Sport understands the Red Devils are keen to land the Croatia striker in the January transfer window.
Mandzukic, 33, is yet to appear under Maurizio Sarri for Juventus this season.
And according to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Mandzukic dreams of heading to Old Trafford.
They say United will hold talks with Juventus over the forward within the next three weeks.
It’s also claimed Mandzukic could even head to United in December to train with his new side before the transfer window opens.
Paul Pogba wants move
Paul Pogba is desperate to quit Manchester United, with Juventus and Real Madrid eyeing the midfielder.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, the World Cup winer would prefer to join Juventus, however, Pogba wouldn’t wouldn’t turn down Real Madrid.
Juventus are hoping to convince United to sell Pogba in the coming months.
Tuttosport add that United are beginning to realise Pogba wants to leave Old Trafford.
