Conor McGregor sends message to rivals

Former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor has told his rivals he plans on strutting his way back to the top of the 155lb division.

On Thursday night, the former featherweight and lightweight champion posted pictures of himself doing the ‘Billi Strut’ – which was made famous by WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon — during a sparring session at Straight Blast Gym Ireland.

The accompanying caption read: “It’s The Billi strut straight to the top! #LetsGoTeam.”

Darren Till calls out Yoel Romero

Following his UFC 244 victory over Kelvin Gastelum, former welterweight title challenger Darren Till has called for a fight with perennial middleweight title contender Yoel Romero.

On Thursday night, Till posted a picture of the Cuban at an open workout with the accompanying caption: “Let’s go Yoel Romero.”

Till appeared to walk back on the call out the following morning by posting meme with the caption: “When you wake up and realise you called out Yoel Romero.”

Mike Brown outlines Jorge Masvidal’s plan

Jorge Masvidal’s head coach Mike Brown has revealed he’d like to see ‘Gamebred’ rematch Nate Diaz before facing McGregor and then challenging for the welterweight title.

He told The Sun: “I’d like the Diaz rematch, I like Conor and then a title fight – I like all three fights.

“They all make sense, in whatever order, I just don’t particularly like Colby vs Jorge, I don’t want two ATT fighters – but it’s a good problem to have.

“He’ll fight Nate again, whether it’s next or not that’s down to his management.”
